Creating a Status Page

Status pages let you show the real-time health of your services to customers and stakeholders.

Setup

Each project can have one status page. To create one:

  1. Navigate to your project
  2. Click Status Page in the sidebar
  3. Configure your status page settings
  4. Add monitor groups and assign monitors

Configuration

Setting Description
Title The heading shown on the status page
Description Optional subtitle/description
Slug Unique URL identifier (e.g., my-app results in status.unseenr.io/status/my-app)
Is Public Toggle visibility (default: public)
Custom Domain Use your own domain (e.g., status.yourcompany.com)
Impressum URL Link to your legal notice (required in some jurisdictions)
Privacy URL Link to your privacy policy
Custom CSS Inject custom styles for branding

Monitor Groups

Organize monitors into logical groups on your status page:

  • Create groups with custom names (e.g., "API", "Website", "Database")
  • Assign monitors to groups
  • Set group positions for ordering
  • Toggle individual monitor status display per group

Custom Domains

You can use your own domain for the status page:

  1. Set the custom domain in the status page settings
  2. Add a CNAME record pointing to status.unseenr.io
  3. Unseenr handles SSL certificate provisioning

Subscribers

Users can subscribe to your status page to receive email notifications about incidents and status changes. Subscriber management is built-in.

Reserved Slugs

Certain slugs are blocked to prevent brand confusion. Slugs containing gonzi, gtch, or unseenr (including substrings) are not allowed.
